The Journey
Where technology, storytelling, and car culture come together.
Armen Merikyan is a technology innovator and creative entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience developing digital experiences, enterprise technology solutions, and imaginative projects that connect technology with everyday life.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Armen grew up surrounded by Southern California's legendary car culture. Cars were more than transportation. They represented freedom, creativity, individuality, engineering, and community.
His connection to the automotive world began long before his professional technology career. While attending college, Armen worked at Pep Boys Auto Parts, gaining firsthand experience with the automotive industry and the people who share a passion for cars.
Years later, his professional journey would bring him back to the automotive industry, this time as a senior technology professional working with the North American operations of both Honda and Toyota.
His career also includes work with Disney Consumer Products, specifically Disney Publishing, where technology, creativity, storytelling, and entertainment come together to create experiences enjoyed by families around the world.
Throughout his career, Armen has explored the intersection of technology, art, business, and human experiences, developing solutions that connect imagination with practical, real-world applications.
The Inspiration Behind MetaMoto
From Los Angeles car culture to a world of imagination.
MetaMoto is more than a technology project. It is a reflection of Armen's personality, upbringing, cultural influences, community, and professional experiences.
It brings together the childhood excitement of playing with toy cars, the creativity of building imaginary cities, the engineering of real automotive environments, and the possibilities of modern artificial intelligence.
The idea is simple: What if children could imagine an entire world, print it at home, and bring it to life with the toys they already own?
A neighborhood becomes a racetrack. A printed street becomes a bustling city. A parking lot connects to a fire station, a school, or a shopping center. Every printed piece becomes part of a larger world that children can design, rearrange, and expand.
And MetaMoto is not limited to cars. Its vision extends to houses, dollhouses, buildings, communities, and imaginative environments that encourage different kinds of play and storytelling.
Technology That Solves Everyday Problems
Making imagination accessible.
After decades of working with enterprise technology, Armen believes some of the most meaningful innovations are those that make everyday life simpler, more affordable, and more enjoyable.
imagine, build. play, learn.
Every child has a world to imagine.
MetaMoto starts by making that world playable and envisions a future where those worlds inspire AI learning in simulation.
