What is MetaMoto?

A world children create, one road at a time.

MetaMoto is building a world where children's imagination, physical play, and artificial intelligence come together. The journey begins with printable cities, roads, neighborhoods, and buildings that children can create, assemble, and explore using their favorite toy cars.

As children design their environments and move vehicles through them, they invent unpredictable situations: a changed road, an unexpected obstacle, a new route, or a person crossing the street. Those moments inspire our long-term vision for richer AI simulation.

Through future digital-twin technology, MetaMoto aims to translate real-world play into interactive simulation environments where autonomous NPC vehicles learn to respond to changing roads, obstacles, and human behavior. Children could help create the worlds in which tomorrow's intelligent machines learn.

How it works

From imagination to possibility.

Hands-on play is here now. Connecting it to AI simulation is the future vision.

01

Imagine it

Choose the city you want to make: a quiet neighborhood, a busy downtown, a racing route, or something entirely new.

02

Print it

Choose a downloadable road or city PDF, then print at Actual Size / 100% on US Letter paper.

03

Build it

Lay pieces on a floor or table. Connect roads, arrange destinations, and keep expanding your city one page at a time.

04

Play & imagine AI

Drive toy cars, tell stories, and invent surprises. In the future, worlds inspired by these scenarios could challenge AI vehicles in simulation.

Print & play

Your first roads are here.

Browse 45 downloadable road and driveway modules, from intersections to parking lots. Add 40 city building tiles to give every route a destination. Each preview shows the road PDF you can download. Print at 100% and check scale and fit before play.

The MetaMoto road system

One sheet. Endless possibilities.

Our initial design standard gives road pieces consistent dimensions so compatible modules can connect without changing scale. The road library includes 45 PDFs and 46 source prompts. A separate collection adds 40 printable city buildings with their original prompts.

Physical vehicle clearance and fit against Road Tile 001 have not yet been confirmed.

The MetaMoto roadmap

From paper streets to intelligent worlds.

Free printables are available now. The iOS app with augmented reality is coming soon; later simulation phases remain long-term concepts, with no announced release date.

  1. Phase 1 · Available now

    Print & play

Download roads and buildings, assemble a city, and explore it with toy cars.

  2. Phase 2 · Planned concept

    Build in 3D

Add paper structures and, eventually, more durable physical pieces to the worlds children design.

  3. Phase 3 · Future vision

    Create a digital twin

Explore ways to translate a physical play world and its changing routes into an interactive digital environment.

  4. Phase 4 · Future vision

    Drive with AI NPCs

Let simulated autonomous vehicles encounter new roads, obstacles, and human-made surprises.

  5. Phase 5 · Long-term vision

    Learn from imagination

Study whether diverse play-inspired scenarios could help future AI systems learn to navigate dynamic worlds.

The future, visualized

Realistic cars. Child-created possibilities.

These concept scenes show how a paper road system might one day inspire a digital twin where full-size vehicles are represented by autonomous NPCs driving in simulation.

Illustrative concept art. MetaMoto does not currently operate real vehicles or offer digital-twin or autonomous-driving technology.

Creativity today

Build a world from your ideas.

Explore printable roads, buildings, and available AI design prompts. A future automatic city creator could make it easier to turn a child's idea into a playable place.

A future learning loop

Let unexpected play lead the way.

Children create a scenario. A future digital twin recreates it. Autonomous NPC vehicles try different responses in simulation. Each new story opens another possibility to explore.

Frequently asked questions

The practical details.

What do I need to start?

A home printer, standard paper, a flat playing surface, and compatible toy cars. Some future pieces may need scissors and adult help.

Are printable roads ready to download?

Yes. There are 45 printable PDFs for modules 002–046 in the library. Modules 002–036 now show updated one-page v2 concepts, with earlier editions still available. They have not been physically fit-tested against Road Tile 001. Modules 037–046 are two-page driveway destinations. The Tile 001 reference PDF is not in the current collection.

What are the new city building tiles?

There are 40 one-page PDFs for homes, services, shops, workplaces, transit, and community places. Each has an updated preview and design prompt. They are first-pass concepts, so check road connections and toy-car clearances before play.

What size paper will MetaMoto use?

The new City Starter Kit comes in US Letter and A4 versions. The older library modules are US Letter only. Keep the starter kit sheets in one paper format for aligned edges.

Will the roads connect?

Compatible road pieces are designed around shared dimensions and connection points. Print at Actual Size / 100% to preserve measurements. Each finished design will need a physical fit check.

Can I use the toy cars I already own?

That is the idea. The initial road design targets approximately 1:64-scale toy vehicles. Vehicle sizes vary, so fit may differ by model. MetaMoto is not affiliated with Hot Wheels or Matchbox.

Does MetaMoto currently teach AI or power real cars?

No. Printable roads, buildings, and design prompts are available today. Digital twins, autonomous NPC vehicles, and learning from play-inspired scenarios are future concepts. The vehicle images on this page illustrate that vision, not an operating driving system.

Our vision

Built for imagination. Designed for play. Inspired by the future of intelligence.

A sheet of paper becomes a road. A road becomes a world. One day, the surprises children create in that world could help shape what intelligent vehicles learn in simulation.
